Great for a quiet, family holiday. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. Beautiful scenery and wildlife right on your doorstep. Definitely recommend.

Really stunning log cabins in the forest. Under floor heating. Hot tub. Log burner. Positioned really well for great walks . Steam railway close by. Local village just a mile away.

Situated in a beautiful forest these cabins are not tiny. There is everything you could wish for including a hot tub and barbecue area and/or food prepared on site which can be delivered. TV, films and WIFI and a shop. A little stream and steam train a few metres away to take you for a day out looking at beautiful Snowdonia or Canaervon. Stunning place.

The place is nice but too expensive for the services you get. This is my family second stay with Forest Holidays and unfortunately we found that their services are becoming less and their prices is only getting higher. You stay for 5 nights and no one will come and clean or change your towels. You are supposed to get your garbage out by yourself. The rooms are nice and clean and the kitchen is well equipped. But I hope they reconsider their price against their services

A word of caution, I feel is necessary as this location is advertised as dog friendly however there is a small herd of sheep on the premises, under the cabins and often right outside the door which make this something of a challenge! Otherwise the location is lovely and very convenient for Beddgelert (2.5k walk) and a good 'jumping off' point for other locations. The shop is smaller than some of the other Forest Holiday locations and seems to contain more trivia which I feel is a shame as a decent store for self catering purposes is about 7-8 miles away.

This is a new forest holiday location so everything is in good condition. The hot tub is always set up for use (checked by staff everyday). There is takeaway food which is good & delivered direct to your cabin. The location is beautiful - in the trees and on paths into the hills from your door. The staff are lovely and friendly - they were really helpful when we left a jumper behind and parcelled it up to send it back to us. UPDATED July 2023 Whilst the above is true, these holidays are very expensive compared to other similar local accomodation and we've actively chosen a cheaper option for our next visit to Eryri (Snowdonia).

Great place for a few days break. Views lovely across the valley. It is expensive, but it is a lovely location & perfect for a quiet family break.
